Santa Barbara Epoxy Flooring & Concrete Polishing was founded in 2019 with a straightforward goal: give Santa Barbara homeowners and business owners access to concrete flooring work that actually holds up. Not just on day one - but a year later, five years later, in a coastal climate that is harder on surfaces than most people expect.
Santa Barbara is a city with a lot of older homes, many built in the decades after the 1925 earthquake. A good number of those homes have concrete slabs that have never been coated or sealed, and the marine air keeps moisture elevated in ways that can cause a rushed coating job to fail within months. We built our process around the conditions here - testing for moisture, doing thorough surface prep, and being honest about what each job needs before we start.
